A Florida Experience™ is a sailing sightseeing adventure located on the Banana River among the area known as Thousand Islands. The river is an integral part of the Indian River Lagoon eco-system. The Lagoon is one of North America's most diverse estuaries, and is home to many of Brevard County's 310 bird species. Many Florida mammals call the Lagoon home, including otters, manatees and bottle-nose dolphins. Tours begin at SR 520's Bicentennial Park sailing south through Cocoa Beach's Thousand Islands. The Thousand Islands are the jewel of Brevard County consisting of mangrove and spoil islands inhabited by many mammal, fish, bird and plant species.
Captain Jeffrey Walker has sailed the waters of the Banana River and Indian River Lagoon estuary for over 40 years. Your sailing experience will be enjoyed on a custom, 23 foot, light-weight Stiletto catamaran with advanced electronics. Come and experience one of Florida's finest aquatic adventures!
